These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Appostu SRL ("Appostu," "we," "us," or "our") for Orthodox Holidays, also called Holy Cross, Cruce Sfântă, and Sărbători Ortodoxe (the "App"). The iOS bundle ID is com.appostu.holy-cross. The Android package is com.appostu.holycross. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Other Appostu apps are covered by the company Terms of Use. If those terms differ from these Terms on a point specific to Orthodox Holidays version 1, these Terms control for the App.
1. The App
Orthodox Holidays is a free Orthodox calendar with saints, fasting, readings, prayers, and a personal journal.
Not an official Church app. The App is independently developed by Appostu SRL. It is not an official app of the Romanian Orthodox Church (Biserica Ortodoxă Română). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Church, any diocese, any parish, or any clergy.
Calendar dates, fasting, readings, prayers, and saints are for personal use. They may differ from your parish, your diocese, or a priest's guidance. Follow your parish and diocese. The App does not provide the sacraments or pastoral care.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If the law where you live requires a higher age, that higher age applies.
3. Version 1 is free
Version 1 does not display advertising and does not offer subscriptions or other in-app purchases. Advertising is off and premium is hidden. There is nothing to bill and nothing for us to refund in this version. If a later version offers purchases or advertising, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before that change applies to you.
4. Optional account
You may use the App without an account. If you create one, it is an email account through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address and for activity through the account. Tell us if you believe someone else is using it.
You may delete the account in the App under Settings > delete account, or by email if you cannot open the App. The steps, the data that is deleted, and the timeline are on the account deletion page.
5. Your device
Content you save, including your journal, is stored on your device. Notifications are local only: the App schedules them on the device and does not use remote push. Name-day features may request read-only access to your contacts. You can refuse that permission. The App does not write to your contacts.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the App for an unlawful purpose; reverse-engineer or tamper with it except where the law allows; interfere with the App or its account service; attempt to access an account that is not yours; or scrape the App with automated means without our written permission.
7. License and intellectual property
Appostu SRL grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use, on devices you own or control, under the store rules that apply to your download. The App's text, calendar content, graphics, and software are owned by Appostu SRL or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App except as these Terms or the law allow.
8. Store terms and Apple's license
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies to the app license: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms about the license grant for the App itself, Apple's standard EULA governs that license. These Terms otherwise govern your relationship with Appostu SRL. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
If you downloaded the App from Google Play, Google's store terms also apply to the download. Google is not responsible for the App or its content.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that calendar dates, fasting rules, readings, or saints will match every parish calendar, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appostu SRL and its officers and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the App. Our total liability for a claim arising out of these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid Appostu for the App in the 12 months before the claim. For version 1, that amount is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limitation applies only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account as described above. We may suspend or end access to an account if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated. Local content on your device remains under your control until you delete it or uninstall the App.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Iasi, Romania, except where consumer-protection law allows you to bring a claim in the courts of your home country.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. If you continue to use the App after the update, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the App and delete your account if you have one.

Acești termeni sunt un acord între dumneavoastră și Appostu SRL pentru aplicația Orthodox Holidays (Holy Cross, Cruce Sfântă, Sărbători Ortodoxe). Identificatorul iOS este com.appostu.holy-cross. Pachetul Android este com.appostu.holycross. Dacă descărcați sau folosiți aplicația, acceptați acești termeni.
Dacă termenii generali Appostu diferă de această pagină într-un punct care privește versiunea 1, această pagină are prioritate pentru aplicație.
Aplicația
Este un calendar ortodox gratuit, cu sfinți, post, lecturi, rugăciuni și un jurnal personal. Este realizată independent de Appostu SRL. Nu este aplicația oficială a Bisericii Ortodoxe Române și nu este afiliată, aprobată sau sponsorizată de Biserică, de o eparhie, de o parohie sau de cler.
Datele de calendar, postul, lecturile, rugăciunile și sfinții sunt pentru uz personal. Pot diferi de practica parohiei, a eparhiei sau de îndrumarea preotului. Urmați parohia și eparhia. Aplicația nu săvârșește Sfintele Taine și nu oferă îndrumare pastorală.
Vârstă și versiunea 1
Trebuie să aveți cel puțin 16 ani. Dacă legea de la dumneavoastră cere o vârstă mai mare, se aplică acea vârstă.
Versiunea 1 nu afișează reclame și nu oferă abonamente sau alte achiziții în aplicație. Reclamele sunt oprite, iar premium este ascuns. În această versiune nu există o plată de rambursat. Dacă o versiune ulterioară oferă achiziții sau reclame, actualizăm acești termeni și politica de confidențialitate înainte ca schimbarea să vi se aplice.
Cont, dispozitiv, utilizare permisă
Puteți folosi aplicația fără cont. Dacă creați unul, este un cont prin email, cu Firebase Authentication. Răspundeți de accesul la acea adresă de email. Ne puteți anunța dacă altcineva folosește contul. Ștergerea contului se face în aplicație, din Settings > delete account, sau prin email dacă nu puteți deschide aplicația. Pașii, datele șterse și termenul sunt pe pagina de ștergere a contului.
Conținutul salvat, inclusiv jurnalul, rămâne pe dispozitiv. Notificările sunt doar locale. Funcțiile de onomastică pot cere acces doar pentru citire la contacte. Puteți refuza. Aplicația nu modifică contactele.
Nu folosiți aplicația în scop ilegal, nu o modificați în afara a ceea ce legea permite, nu încercați să accesați un cont care nu este al dumneavoastră și nu o extrageți automat fără acordul nostru scris.
Licență și magazine
Vă acordăm o licență personală, neexclusivă, netransmisibilă și revocabilă, pentru uz propriu necomercial, pe dispozitivele dumneavoastră, în limitele regulilor magazinului. Conținutul și programul aparțin Appostu SRL sau licențiatorilor săi. Nu puteți copia, modifica, distribui, vinde sau închiria aplicația în afara acestor termeni sau a legii.
Dacă ați descărcat aplicația din App Store, se aplică și acordul standard Apple (EULA) pentru licența aplicației. Apple nu răspunde pentru aplicație sau pentru conținutul ei. Dacă ați descărcat-o din Google Play, se aplică și termenii magazinului Google. Google nu răspunde pentru aplicație sau pentru conținutul ei.
Răspundere, încetare, legea aplicabilă
Aplicația este furnizată „ca atare” și „după disponibilitate”, în limita permisă de lege. Nu garantăm că datele de calendar coincid cu calendarul fiecărei parohii și nu garantăm funcționarea fără întreruperi.
În limita permisă de lege, Appostu SRL nu răspunde pentru daune indirecte sau consecvente. Răspunderea totală este limitată la suma plătită către Appostu pentru aplicație în cele 12 luni dinaintea pretenției. Pentru versiunea 1, suma este zero. Limitarea se aplică doar cât permite legea și nu acoperă răspunderea care nu poate fi limitată legal.
Puteți înceta oricând utilizarea și puteți șterge contul. Putem suspenda sau închide accesul la un cont dacă avem motive rezonabile să credem că acești termeni au fost încălcați.
Se aplică legea română. Litigiile țin de instanțele din Iași, cu excepția cazului în care legea protecției consumatorului vă permite să vă adresați instanțelor din țara dumneavoastră.
Modificări și contact
Putem actualiza termenii publicând o versiune nouă pe această pagină. Dacă continuați să folosiți aplicația, se aplică termenii noi. Dacă nu sunteți de acord, opriți utilizarea și ștergeți contul, dacă aveți unul.
