These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Appostu SRL ("Appostu," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of our website (appostu.com) and our mobile applications, including Essential Oils Guide - doTERRA (together, the "Services"). These Terms apply generally across all Appostu Services; where an app needs its own additional terms, those are set out in the app-specific section near the end of this document. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this requirement. If applicable law in your jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies.
2. Accounts
Some Services let you sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In to save your preferences and sync content across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Certain features may be offered as paid in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions, presented through paywalls powered by Adapty. By purchasing a subscription or in-app purchase, you agree to the following:
- Pricing, billing, and renewal terms are always shown to you before purchase, within the relevant app store's purchase screen (Apple App Store or Google Play).
- Payment is processed and billed by Apple or Google, not directly by Appostu — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal, through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's respective refund policies, since they process the payment. We cannot directly issue refunds for purchases made through the app stores.
- Free trial terms, where offered, are as displayed at the time of purchase.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Services for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Services except as permitted by applicable law; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their related systems; or (e) use automated means to access or scrape the Services without our prior written consent.
5. Health & Informational Content Disclaimer
Some Appostu apps provide wellness, aromatherapy, or other health-related informational content. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this content is provided for general informational purposes only, is not medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health. See the app-specific section below for the full disclaimer applicable to Essential Oils Guide - doTERRA.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our Services — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Appostu SRL or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted (for example, personal, non-commercial use of the app as intended), you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services.
7. Third-Party Services & Advertising
Our Services use third-party providers — including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google AdSense, Meta's ad-attribution SDK, Mixpanel, Adapty, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In — to operate, analyze, and monetize our Services, and may display advertising. Your use of these third-party features is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared with each provider.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appostu SRL and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you paid to Appostu for the Service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose (which, for the free tier of our apps, is $0).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Appostu SRL harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Services, or delete your account, at any time.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Iasi, Romania, except where applicable consumer-protection law entitles you to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This app, including its essential oil profiles, blends, and health condition/protocol content, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and statements within the app have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration or any equivalent regulatory body. The app is a reference tool, not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Apple App Store users. If you downloaded this app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard End User License Agreement additionally applies to your use of the app license: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where there is a conflict between that agreement and these Terms regarding the license grant for the app itself, Apple's standard EULA governs that license; these Terms otherwise govern your relationship with Appostu SRL, including the disclaimers above.
